Specialising in Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, I work therapeutically with the mind-body connection. Using the best of evidenced based psychological practice and my expertise in working with the body as a Yoga Instructor, we can work together to achieve a calmer more peaceful state of mind and to overcome longstanding trauma.
Your current concerns will be understood in terms of your unique genetic, biological, environmental and social make up and how this interacts with your personality and coping strategies. From there, your individual treatment plan will be discussed with you and is likely to draw on a number of therapeutic approaches (including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, amongst others), tailoring therapy to your unique needs.
