About Us
Our Philosophy
The ethos of The Newtown Clinic - Marlow is best described by explaining our logo. The three leaves represent the 3 key aspects of good health: Biomechanics, Nutrition and Psychology. Every patient we see has the roots of their problem to a greater or lesser degree in each of these leaves. The arch over the leaves in the logo represents our environment, i.e. - what we do with our bodies (whether we exercise, what our work/life demands are etc...). We believe that to treat a patient in a truly holistic way we must consider each of these leaves and how they relate to the individual.
We keep the patient at the centre of what we do and we want people to know that we have their best interests at heart. We aim to treat everyone we see with patience, understanding and empathy. When you walk out of our doors we hope you will feel relieved of any discomfort you had, as well as feeling encouraged, genuinely cared for and most importantly inspired to take responsibility for your own well-being.
We believe that anything is possible with the right kind of support and with commitment from both practitioner and client. Getting healthier need not be complicated. It's about making the right choices each day in terms of what we put into our bodies, what we do with our bodies and how we manage the stresses of our daily lives.
